New: Free SAT Classes

We recently launched our weekly SAT Prep classes! Our instructors have scored in the 99th percentile and want to help you succeed on the SAT I! We will teach advanced strategies and tips that will help you reach your potential on the exam.

SAT classes from other organizations can cost thousands of dollars, making them inaccessible for many families who cannot put down hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars for preparation. This puts these students at a disadvantage. Teach to Learn is trying to combat this problem by offering these classes free of charge.

We currently have two locations and are working hard to add more soon. To make our classes more accessible, we are also producing an online version of the prep classes covering the same curriculum.

Let’s Read

Literacy is key to progression, personally and as a society. It’s almost assumed in the United States that everyone knows how to read, but the reality is that there are many adults and children who struggle to do so. The Let’s Read program aims to resolve the root of this problem.

Supported by a grant from Macy’s, the Let’s Read program’s goal is to foster a love for reading at a young age. Many kids are unable to read at home because their parents do not have time to read to them or may not speak English. Teach to Learn solves this by sending volunteers to the children’s home or a public place (like their school) to read to them. The children are given free customized bookshelves filled with books they can read. Want to participate as a reader or want to be read to? Email [email protected] for more info.

Past Events

Teach to Learn – New York partnered with Peekskill Reads last month at the Field Library in Peekskill. Eighty children attended the event and had a blast as our volunteers read to them, giving away over two hundred books for kids to take home after the event was over.
